He and his elder brother Mirza Sultan Ahmad were disinherited by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and their mother was divorced by him – as part of the [Muhammadi Begum] saga. These were the two sons from the first wife of Mirza Ghulam.
Mirza Fazal Ahmad had no issue from his first wife. He married again and had a child by his second wife who died in mysterious circumstances in his young age.
He died in 1904 and his funeral was not attended by his father.
