An early disciple of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad from a young age. There are published advertisements by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad asking for a marriage match for him.
He went on to edit magazines and publish books, and was instrumental in the first Ahmadiyya Organisations.
After the Organisations, he went on to head the Lahori group until his death.
