Ahmadi blacks in Cleveland were upset that Ahmadis wouldn't make them missionaries and a lot of them left in the 1930-40's. Then blacks learned that Ahmadis believe that Muhammad is NOT the last prophet – the author writes about this over 4 paragraphs or so – and a major exodus occured.
The author also writes about nationalism and the Ahmadiyya, and that many famous black Jazz musicians became Ahmadis as they were using Muhammad Ali's Quran translation.
