I doubt that the U.S. would attack Iran. It did not happen when relations were at there worst in 1979-80 and the situation is not as bad now as it was then. It is my opinion that relations between these two countries will improve after the year 2008, this situation could change only if there were another 9/11 type or worse attack on the U.S. than almost anything could happen.
