Muslims, you have found a cause - carry it to liberate the world

Musims, you are comparatively the most compassionate, forgiving, hospitable, just and peace-loving nation in history . . . and now is the time to prove it!
*South African prosecutor Yutar speaking on the sentencing of Nelson Mandela to 27 years in prison: “The deceit of the accused is amazing,” he declared, his voice rising in anger. “Although they represented scarcely more than one percent of the Bantu population, they took it upon themselves to tell the world that the Africans in South Africa are suppressed, oppressed and depressed. . . . *
The morally reprehensible act of Sept 11 was violent, but why is bin Laden’s image being sold like hot cakes in lands from Brazil to Nigeria to China? Why? The imperial facade of the European nations has crumbled . . . the oppressed of the world have hope . . . the closely-aligned triumvirate of Western politics, industry and media is on the run. I see hope at the end of the tunnel . . . the exploitation of the resources of our beautiful Earth will stop.

It is tragic to think that the accused, who between themselves did not have the courage to commit a single act of sabotage, should nevertheless have incited their followers to acts of sabotage and guerrilla warfare, armed insurrection and open rebellion and ultimately civil war.” *
Why are images of bin Laden popular in Brazil and China, apart from the Muslim world? Because, the oppressed of the world have had enough. Our struggle is just beginning.

Western propaganda has failed. Its naked body is for all to see. The U.S. has been exposed – as a most violent, dishonest and subversive empire. Their ideals are still commendable, but the media-industrial-political complex is far too gone to come back to a sane course.

One of the ironies of armed conflict is that the fallout is unpredictable. Just as WWII was ending, the seeds of the Cold War were being sown. For Muslims, the war in Afghanistan has been as momentous as World War I. It was an attempt to crush the pride of Muslims, as there were other ways to resolve terrorism . . .
All the evils of American foreign policy became evident:

  • Disregard for the real issues
  • Contempt for other countries, ideas and individuals.
  • A short-cut solution
  • Spending money on killing rather on building. If the money spent on wars in the past decade was spent improving the life of those exploited by the industrial countries, there would be peace on earth.
  • Breaking promises.

As much as we hate to admit it, there is only one inevitable result. It is hard to get a tyrant to break out of the blood that it has become used to. It is hard to break American habits. But this time, Muslims are much more confident.

Another generation has seen the brutality of the West. Hang on for the rocky ride of history!
